ABOUT ME

Connor Cheek is a North Carolina/New York City-based singer, actor, and self-proclaimed "personality mover" at dance calls! At 16, Connor was accepted into the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, as one of six high school students given the opportunity to train in vocal performance alongside college students. After graduating from UNCSA, Connor was cast in professional regional productions of A Christmas Carol and My Fair Lady before being accepted into the Manhattan School of Music in 2016. Some of the roles Connor got to play during his time at MSM include the role of Guido in Nine, Big Bob Freelander in Smile, and Adolfo Pirelli in Sweeney Todd. Connor also has a passion for American Sign Language. He began teaching himself when he was 14 and then later went on to take classes. He remains passionate about deaf culture and the deaf community.
Connor is a 2020 graduate of the Manhattan School of Music where he received his BM in Musical Theatre.
